Jan Zrimec

My work contributes to solving global ecosystem and health related problems, e.g.: (i) global pollution with waste materials and chemical contaminants, (ii) drug resistant microbial infections, (iii) food security and (iv) interaction of microbial communities important for our wellbeing. I have combined modeling, systems and data science approaches, decoding the regulation of gene expression and horizontal gene transfer, collaborating on multiple microbial and plant systems biology projects.
