J. C. Lashley

Jason C. Lashley was born in 1972 in Vulcan, MO. His research has been directed at a number of topics, including single crystal growth and purification of actinide metals, shape-memory alloys, intermetallics, and organic field-effect transistors. He performs a suite of measurements on these materials, including low-temperature specific heat, thermal expansion/magnetostriction, and magnetometry.,He has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Calorimetry Society. He received the Los Alamos Achievement Award in 1999 for his work on the purification and crystal synthesis on Pu and Pu alloys. He also received the Stig Sunner Memorial award in 2007 for contributions to calorimetry.
