Jeffery W. Allen

Jeffery W. Allen (Senior Member, IEEE) is currently a Principal Research Electronics Engineer with the Air Force Research Laboratory. He has more than 175 publications. His research interests include multidisciplinary applied physics and engineering in nanophotonics, electromagnetic wave matter interaction and strong coupling of light to quasiparticles, extreme control and manipulation of highly confined fields, strongly correlated electron systems, and quantum enabling technologies. He is affiliated with honor societies: HKN (EE), TBP (Eng.), Scientific Research Honor Society (Sigma Xi), and OPTICA (OSA) Fellow. He is a Reviewer/Editor of many journals, and founded the IEEE Research and Applications of Photonics in Defense conference.
