Jeffrey M. Greeson

Dr. Greeson directs the Mindfulness, Stress & Health Lab (www.tinyurl.com/rowanmindfulnesslab) – an interdisciplinary research program that integrates psychology with health, medicine, and basic science. Trained as a clinical health psychologist at the University of Miami, his research interests include the effects of stress on mental and physical health, and how reducing stress with mindfulness can enhance wellness. His independent and collaborative research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for 20 years, and he is currently a fellow of Nova Institute for Health (www.novainstituteforhealth.org). Dr. Greeson has over 50 peer-reviewed publications and has given over 100 invited presentations to students, researchers, and healthcare professionals. As faculty in the Department of Psychology at Rowan University, he teaches "Health Psychology" and "Health Care Models & Service Delivery", and mentors both undergraduate and doctoral students in research.
