Jianzhao Li

Jianzhao Li received the B.Sc. degree in physics from Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, in 1990, the M.Sc. degree in physics from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree in applied physics and chemistry from the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan, in 1999. Prior to his Ph.D. study, he was a Production Engineer from 1993 to 1996 at Sichuan Television in China. From 1999 to 2001 he was a Research Fellow at Japan Science and Technology Corporation. He joined the University of Toronto as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2001, where he is currently a Research Associate focusing on research and development of laser nanofabrication of photonic devices and ultrafast laser microscopy and spectroscopy. His research experience includes lasers, laser spectroscopy, nonlinear and quantum optics, and laser material processing. Dr. Li is a member of the Optical Society of America (OSA).
