Jing Shi

Jing Shi (M'08) received the Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, in 2004. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, North Dakota State University, Fargo. His research interests include wireless sensor network/radio-frequency identification, computer vision, structure health monitoring, and mathematical modeling for renewable energy and health care systems. He is the author of more than 60 papers, which have been published in referred journals and conference proceedings, on these topics. Dr. Shi is a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Society for Health Systems, and Sigma Xi.
