I am a basic scientist trained in stem cells and corneal regeneration during my PhD (2012-2017). I worked on the feasibility of using temperature responsive surfaces as carriers for mesenchymal stem cells in rabbit cornea injury model. We could show corneal regeneration after transplantation of MSCs over damaged cornea (Sharma et al 2021). After completing PhD at department of Ophthalmology, PGIMER Chandigarh, I joined as senior research fellow and then senior demonstrator at department of pediatrics, PGIMER Chandigarh. There, I gained experience in immunology of primary immune deficiency diseases and was involved in laboratory related training of PhD students and clinical residents in pediatric allergy and immunology unit. I have published 10 research articles till date and participated in local and international conferences for poster presentations. Presently I am working as a post doctoral fellow at Mass eye and ear
