Joachim Blatter is Professor of Political Science at the University of Lucerne since 2008. He studied Social Sciences, Political Science, Public Administration and Law at the University of Konstanz (Germany). His teaching and research interests include the historical transformations of political governance, citizenship and democracy. More recently, he focusses on dual citizenship, transnational voting and the diffusion of migration policies.
