Joe Marshall received the B.A. degree in computer science from Cambridge University, Cambridge, U.K., in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K., in 2008. He has been a Research Fellow with the Mixed Reality Laboratory, University of Nottingham, since 2008. His research interests centre around the development and study of technology for sports, games, and artistic performance, with a focus on mobile devices. Mr. Marshall was a recipient of an Early Career Fellowship from the Leverhulme Trust.
