Bio

Besides his diagnostic and teaching responsibilities prof. Kros is PI in funded research topics including the role of the immune response in cerebral metastasis of common cancers, neovascularization of gliomas, and the immunological aspects of Alzheimer's disease. For all these topics there are local, national and international collaborations. Professor Kros is member of the editorial board of the WHO edition on tumors of the CNS since 1995, and chairs the Neuropathology Review Panel of the EORTC Brain Tumour Group since 1996.
