Johannes Kohlmann

Johannes Kohlmann was born in Dortmund, Germany, in 1960. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from Georg-August-University, Göttingen, Germany, in 1986 and 1990, respectively. He was working in the field of low-temperature solid-state physics with Georg-August-University. In 1990, he joined the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, Braunschweig, Germany, where he has been engaged in the research and development of the Josephson potentiometer and Josephson junction series arrays for voltage standards. Since 1997, he has been the Head of a team developing, fabricating, and investigating programmable and pulse-driven Josephson voltage standards. Dr. Kohlmann is a member of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft.
