John S. Mccloy

John S. McCloy received the B.S. degree in materials science & engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, in 1996 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in materials science from the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, in 2007 and 2008, respectively. Dr. McCloy worked for more than 10 years in the microelectronics, aerospace, and defense industries before joining the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, WA, in 2008, where he is a Senior Research Scientist and Team leader of the Glass and Materials Science team in the Radiological Materials & Technology Development group. His current interests center on properties of electromagnetic materials and their novel applications in technology.
