I'm an applied geophysicist working on outstanding problems in the environmental and energy domains including geological carbon storage, geothermal energy production, and hydrogeophysics. My group specializes in new acquisition techniques for timelapse seismology including distributed acoustic sensing (DAS), permanent seismic sources, and ambient noise approaches. We also work on the rock physics of fractures, ice, and unconsolidated materials.
