Bio
During a Ph.D. in chemistry at Seoul National University (~2015), I studied the formation mechanism of inorganic nanomaterials and their applications for solar cells and Li-ion batteries.
From 2015 - 2017, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Ewha Womans University. My research was focused on the synthesis of inorganic 2D nanomaterials, their energy applications such as metal-ion batteries, supercapacitor, and electrochemical catalysis, and characterization using X-ray absorption fine structure.
From 2017 - 2020, I worked as a scientist at the Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung in Düsseldorf. I have studied the formation and degradation mechanism of energy materials using electron microscopy and atom probe tomography. I am an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow (AvH foundation, Germany).
I am now working as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at Kangwon National University, South Korea.
