Jorg Fricke

Jörg Fricke received the Diploma in physics from the University of Rostock, Rostock, Germany, in 1991. He was with the Technical University of Berlin, Berlin, Germany, on the development of micromechanical accelerometers in silicon surface micromechanics and the Ph.D. degree in engineering in 1996. From 1997 to 1998, he worked in the field of self-assembled structures on GaAs with Paul-Drude-Institute Berlin, Berlin. In 1998, he moved to Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Berlin, Germany, where he is responsible for the fabrication of GaAs-based laser diodes.
