Over the last years, the main goal of the projects is to develop in laboratory scale technology for conversion of CO2, CH4 and renewable resource (bioethanol and bio-oil components) to chemicals, as well as for hydrogen. The studies encompass the design of novel effective nanostructured catalyst, the development of a new process, and we sought to make them technically, economically, and environmentally viable. The development of new techniques for in situ studies is needed to carry out the studies. Techniques using Synchrotron radiations are applied to understanding how catalysts work and the reaction pathways.
