Joseph R. Manns received the Ph.D. degree in psychology from the University of California, San Diego, USA, in 2002. After completing a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Boston University in 2007, he joined the Faculty at Emory University, where he is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology. Dr. Manns was awarded a postdoctoral Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (2003–2006) and a Pathway to Independence Award (K99/R00; 2006–2011) by the National Institutes of Health.
