Joycee Mekie

Joycee Mekie (Member, IEEE) received the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the M. S. University of Baroda, Vadodara, India, in 1997 and 1999, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India, in 2009. She joined as an Assistant Professor at the Electrical Engineering Department, IIT Gandhinagar, Gandhinagar, India, in 2009. Her current research interests include approximate computing, circuits for space applications, asynchronous systems, energy-efficient memory design, computer architecture, and network-on-chip architectures. Dr. Mekie was a recipient of the prestigious Young Faculty Research Fellowship (YFRF) from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, under the Visvesvaraya Ph.D. scheme. She has served on the technical program committee of several conferences, including ASYNC and VLSID, and is a Reviewer for several journals, including IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems— I: Regular Papers, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems— II: Express Briefs, and IEEE Transactions on FComputer- Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems.
