The goal is to enable machine elements to measure their health and combine this information in the machine system in order to enable reactions to the health of the components. Sensors need to be integrated in machine elements, the data needs to be processed and analyzed using various methods e.g. machine learning. Also research the communication of the health data inside and outside the machine system.
