Junfeng Xiong was born in Xiaogan, China, in 1989. He received the B.S. degree (with honors) in process equipment and control engineering from Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2012. Since September 2012, he has been working toward the Ph.D. degree in pattern recognition and intelligent system at Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang, China; and University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.
