My research interests are on waste governance, co-production in waste management, and the social/ecological economy in a global South context, using a community-based participatory approach. I work with waste pickers and their organizations to contribute to finding ways to address waste issues. I have co-produced documentaries on waste issues and cooperative recycling. in 2019/20 a research fellow at the Centre for Global studies, at the University of Victoria
