个人简介
K. N. Pandiyaraj received the Ph.D. degree from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India, in 2010.
He is currently an Assistant Professor of physics with the Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. He carried out his post-doctoral research at the Institute of Surface and Thin Film Technology (IfOD), Hochschule Wismar, Wismar, Germany. His field of research is nonthermal plasma-assisted material processing, which includes plasma treatment, plasma polymerization, plasma medicine, plasma surface coatings, and plasma effluent purification. His research group, at the Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, is working on the development of various bio functional coating on different polymeric materials especially 3-D structured biopolymers using cold atmospheric pressure plasma-assisted polymerization. His groups are also actively working on the degradation of toxic components in textile and pharmaceutical effluents.
Dr. Pandiyaraj has received the Young Scientist of Fast Track Scheme by Science and Engineering Research Board, Department of Science and Technology (SERB-DST), Government of India. He has been served as a reviewer and an editorial member for various journals. His contribution in the field of science and technology has been recognized by various scientific and academic bodies.
