He leads the competence field “translational bioinformatics” in the research unit Radiation Cytogenetics (ZYTO) with a focus on regression-based machine learning and deep learning for the generation of prognostic models predicting clinical outcome. Kristian Unger completed his habilitation at the Medical Faculty of the LMU and has a broad and active cooperation network consisting of partners at Munich universities, national and international scientists.
