Kai Yang received the B.S. degree in engineering mechanics and the Ph.D. degree in general mechanics from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2009 and 2014, respectively. From 2019 till now, he is an Associate Researcher with Hypervelocity Aerodynamics Institute (HAI), China Aerodynamics Research and Development Center (CARDC), Mianyang, China. His research interests include measurement of heat flux and solving inverse problems with optimization methods.
