Ke Zhang(张可)

Since 2010, I completed my Ph.D. studies with Dr. Yu-Hua Chen at China Medical University. For the past 20 years or so, I have stayed true to my research direction including immune mechanisms and therapeutic strategies for neurodegeneration disease. I mainly study the peripheral immune mechanisms in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. From 2018 to 2019, I studied as a research scholar at Washington University in St. Louis and University of Missouri. During that time, I focused on pathological tau proteins, exploring the cellular mechanisms of neurodegeneration in tauopathies, and developing immunotherapeutic approaches to target pathological tau proteins. At present, I am serving as an Associate Editor in the editorial board of Neuroinflammation and Neuropathy, a section within Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience.
