I am an occupational therapist with experience in acute care practice and management. Currently, my research uses large data (Medicare or private insurance claims, AHRQ's Medical Expenditure Panel Survey, Health and Retirement Study) with prior experience using electronic health record data. Topics of interest include health policy, the opioid epidemic, non-drug pain interventions (e.g., occupational therapy), cognition, social determinants of health, and equitable access to health services.
