Sek Won Kong

Sek Won Kong received the MD from the College of Medicine, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1992, and is a board certified psychiatrist. After finishing his clinical training, he studied brain imaging in patients with mental disorders at McLean Hospital, Belmont, MA. Since 2002, he has been using computational translational genomics to understand diverse human diseases including autism spectrum disorders. In 2005, he joined the Informatics Program at Boston Children's Hospital as a full-time faculty, and is currently an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. His research interests include genetics, genomics, brain imaging, and mental disorders.
