Konstantinos A. Avramidis

Konstantinos A. Avramidis was born in Athens, Greece, on April 29, 1971. He received the Dipl. Piano Soloist degree from National Conservatory, Athens, in 1995, and the Dipl.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, Athens, in 1998 and 2006, respectively. He was occupied with national service from 1997 to 1998. He was a Research Assistant with the Electron Beam, Plasma, and Nonlinear Optics Laboratory, National Technical University of Athens, from 1992 to 2006. He was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens from 2006 to 2012. He has been a Researcher with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Institute for Pulsed Power and Microwave Technology, since 2013. His current research interests include the design and numerical simulation of conventional, coaxial, and harmonic gyrotrons. Dr. Avramidis is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
