Kyle Johnsen (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Florida, USA, in 2008. He is currently a Full Professor with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Georgia, USA. Since joining the University of Georgia, he established the Virtual Experiences Laboratory, in 2008, and he has been the Founding Director of the Georgia Informatics Institutes for Research and Education since its inception, in 2017. His research interests include effective applications of virtual reality technologies and embodied agents and especially those that support professional education and training. He is also an Editor of IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications Spatial User Interfaces Department.
