Hyunsoo Kim

Hyunsoo Kim received a BS in electrical engineering and computer science from the Kyungpook National University, Taegu, Korea in 2001. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the Center for Thin Film Devices and Material Research Institute, The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA. His doctoral research involves microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology in the design and development of an ultrasound transducer for medical imaging application. His current research interests include piezoelectric thin films, modeling, and fabrication of micromachined piezoelectric thin film devices.
