Laurent Marquer

I am a scientist expert in pollen analysis. My research interests focus on assessing the legacy of climate and land use on vegetation composition and functioning. More particularly, I use fossil pollen and modelling schemes to reconstruct changes in vegetation composition and diversity through time. Furthermore, I use pollen to inform pollen allergy sufferers about the current allergenic burden throughout the pollen season and explore the effects of climate on pollen production and dispersal.
