My astrophysical interests lie in understanding galaxy structure, formation and evolution from their earliest phases to their end products. I use a wide variety of theoretical, observational and analysis techniques, ranging from low-frequency phased-arrays (e.g. LOFAR) on one extreme to UV-observations with the Hubble Space Telescope at the other end of the spectrum. My research lines are currently related to 21-cm cosmology, in particular, the Epoch of Reionization and the Cosmic Dawn, as well as the study of dark matter via strong gravitational lensing. I have also developed various Bayesian data-modelling methods in both fields and have recently become interested in Machine Learning and more generally in data science.
