Lorenzo Caputi currently works at the Department of Physics, Universita della Calabria. Current research interests are the following: electronic properties od 2D materials, synthesis and characterization of graphene-like nano materials, synthesis of nano materials for electrodes of batteries and super capacitors. Methods of synthesis are chemical vapor deposition, graphite exfoliation and oxidation, hydrothermal treatment of organic precursors. Techniques used are electron spectroscopies (EELS, XPS, AES), Raman, SEM, TEM, TGA, IR, UV-VIS, Porosimetry.
