个人简介
My work uses data from the British Birth Cohort Studies and falls under two general themes: (1) methodological research on the cohorts (e.g., representativeness, coverage and survey mode effects); (2) applied work examining changes in the determinants of health and social inequalities across time. My research is multi-disciplinary, spanning genetics, health and social science research. Recent research projects include:
- (Trends in) the ability of socioeconomic position to predict health
- Cross-cohort and lifecourse changes in the genetics of body mass index (BMI)
- Integrating quasi-experimental research designs into cognitive epidemiology
- Modelling the distribution of continuous health outcomes
