Libor Svadlenka

Libor Švadlenka was born in Czech Republic, in 1978. He received the Graduate degree in transport management, marketing and logistics from the Faculty of Transport Engineering, University of Pardubice, in 2001. He defended the Ph.D. dissertation titled “Specific Aspects of Management in the Postal Services,” in 2004. He was with the Board of Management of Czech Post as an Expert in postal transportation, in 2004. Since 2005, he has been a Lecturer with the Department of Transport Management, Marketing and Logistics, University of Pardubice. Since 2007, he has also been the Head of the Section “Economy and Management of Communications,” Department of Transport Management, Marketing and Logistics. From 2013 to 2016, he was the Head of the Department of Transport Management, Marketing and Logistics. Since 2016, he has also been the Dean of the Faculty of Transport Engineering in Pardubice. In 2010, he was an Associate Professor (degree) with the University of Zilina with an article called “Ensuring Universal Postal Service in the Conditions of Fully Liberalized Postal Market.” His research interests include management and marketing in postal services, next on the transport and communication system of the Czech Republic, and the problem of electronic business. He is a guarantee of bachelor’s and master’s study programs “Transport Technology and Management.” He regularly lectures at international and national conferences and publishes in reputable journals.
