Lily B. Mummert

Lily Mummert received the PhD degree in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1996. She is a research scientist at Intel Research Pittsburgh, working in the area of distributed systems. Before joining Intel in 2006, she was a research staff member at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, where she worked on problems in enterprise system management and contributed to several products. Her current research is focused on enabling interactive applications that process data from heterogeneous, potentially high-data-rate sensors such as video and audio. She is a member of the IEEE.
