Dr. Yang Liu is currently a postdoctoral research fellow with the Center for Machine Vision and Signal Analysis, University of Oulu, Finland. He is the PI of the North Ostrobothnia Regional Fund 2023 and the Post-doc Grant 2024, supported by the Finnish Culture Foundation and the Instrumentarium Science Foundation, respectively. He has authored and co-authored over 20 published papers on high-level international conferences and journals. Dr. Liu is the Guest Associate Editor on the board of Frontiers in Psychology and Frontiers in Human Neurosciences, and has served as reviewers for many prestigious journals and conferences, such as ECCV, IJCAI, ICASSP, TAFFC, TMM, TCSVT, PR, IVC, and IOTJ. His research interests include affective computing, computer vision, and trustworthy machine learning.
