Lun Gao

Lun Gao received the B.Sc. degree in geographic information science from the Suzhou University of Science and Technology, Suzhou, China, in 2014, the M.Sc. degree in geographic information science from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, in 2017, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in hydrology from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, USA, in 2020 and 2022, respectively. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, Champaign, IL, USA. His research interests include microwave remote sensing of soil moisture and vegetation properties as well as tropospheric ozone and drought stresses on plants. Dr. Gao was a recipient of the NASA Earth and Space Science Fellowship from 2019 to 2022.
