Dr. Carpenter has published over 800 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, refereed conference proceedings and laboratory reports, and other scientists have cited these publications significantly. He has been a speaker at many domestic and international scientific conferences, workshops and technical meetings, where he presented more than 80 talks.. He has extensive experience of, and contact with, leading researchers in nuclear physics and engineering worldwide, and he is an internationally recognized and respected scientist in the area of experimental nuclear physics as well as a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
