Marat Sayatov, Ph.D., professor, academician of NAS RK. Main research fields: ecology, evolution, diagnostics of human and animal ortho and paramyxoviruses. In various ecosystems of Kazakhstan he isolated from birds original strains of influenza and Newcastle disease viruses, studied the characteristics of their spread and basic biological properties. The proposed project is associated with the earlier conducted research and is dedicated to molecular genetic characteristics of modern NDV variants of wild and domestic birds.
