At Technische Universitat Kaiserslautern-Germany, presently I am developing functionalized organic molecules for the extraction and biophysical scrutiny of therapeutically important membrane proteins. During my previous postdoctoral work at Hanyang University-South Korea, I designed and synthesized novel stereo-isomeric organic molecules, termed as ‘amphiphiles’ for membrane-protein structural analysis. Earlier as a PhD student, I worked on the total synthesis of bioactive natural products, from which I gained a strong foundation and expertise in synthetic organic chemistry. Before joining as a postdoc, I had industrial R&D experiences in two leading industries as a Research Scientist in organic chemistry division. Outside the Lab, I enjoy cooking, playing football and photography.
