Manik is broadly interested in developing novel computational techniques to understand complex and high throughput biological datasets such as CyTOF, scRNAseq and scATACseq. Currently, his projects in lab involve developing a novel clustering algorithm called Diffusion Condensation, a novel integration tool for multimodal single cell data and a multiscale visualization tool called Multiscale PHATE.
