Manouchehr Vossoughi received the B.S. degree from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1976, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Institute National de Science Appliques, Toulouse, France, in 1979 and 1982, respectively, all in chemical engineering. From 1992 to 2001, he was an Associate Professor with the Chemical Engineering Department, Sharif University of Technology, where he has been a Professor since 2001. He has authored one book and more than 200 articles. His research interests include environmental biotechnology, biomedical and tissue engineering, immobilized cell technology, biofilm, bioenergy, controlled release, and bioremediation.
