According to the Web of science (WOS), 28th of November 2020, my h-index is 25. I have 64 publications, 47 articles published in journals indexed in the JCR. They have been cited 1937 times. The average number of citations per item is 30.75. Of these articles, 39 are in the first quartile (Q1) of their group, and 19 are in the first decile (D1). 8 articles are in Q2. The most cited article has 263 citations. 14 articles have more than 50 citations. Currently, I am "Profesor ayudante doctor" (Assistant professor) at the Department of Pharmacology, University of Granada, Spain. However, I am accredited as "Profesor contratado doctor" (Reader) by the National Agency of Quality Evaluation and Accreditation (ANECA). I have co-directed a Doctoral Thesis and directed 14 end of degree projects (TFGs); I have been member of 2 Doctoral Thesis examination boards; substitute for another one; and external reviewer for the acceptance of 3 Doctoral Thesis. I have taught more than 700 hours on the subjects of Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy and Phytotherapy at the School of Pharmacy and Human nutrition, and also related subjects at the Schools of Dentistry and Biochemistry. I act as reviewer for 14 research journals indexed in the JCR. I have also been reviewer for the British Pharmacologycal Congress since 2017. Moreover, I am a member of several scientific societies with selection criteria, such as the Spanish Society of Pharmacology (SEF), British Pharmacological Society (BPS), Laboratory Animal Science Association (LASA) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and some of their committees. I have worked for 2 years at the University Medical Center Utrecht, University of Utrecht, The Netherlands, with a fellowship from the Spanish Ministry of Education. Later, I worked for another 2 years as Research Associate at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. I am fluent in 4 languages, with crediting exams for levels B2, French; C1, English; and C1, Catalan, being Spanish my mother tongue. Since I started with teaching tasks in 2016, the assessment of my teaching work by the University has been certified every single year with the maximum degree, Excelent. In January 2019 I was awarded the Prize "Real Colegio Oficial de Farmacéuticos de Sevilla" by the Academia Iberoamericana de Farmacia for my research career. Finally, I also have more than 80 participations in congresses, both at national and international level, about my research work but also about new methodologies to teach pharmacology and pharmacognosy, and 12 of them have been awarded best poster or presentation. One is going to be published as book chapter.
