I combine measurements and modeling of aerosols, greenhouse gases and reactive species to elucidate anthropogenic and natural processes that are changing air quality and climate on local to global scales. My objective is to minimize the footprint of our energy use activities on our environment and sustain economic growth in the 21st century.
