Mao-Kuo Wei

Mao-Kuo Wei was born at Taipei, Taiwan, in 1965. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in materials science and engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1987 and 1989, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Erlangen, Germany, in 1997. From 1995 to 1997, he worked as a project engineer in Applications and Technology Center, Vilseck, Germany. From 1997 to 1999, he worked as a researcher in Industrial Technology Research Institute, Chutung, Hsinchu, Taiwan. From 1999 to 2002, he worked as a manager in RiTdisplay Technology Corporation, Hsinchu Industrial Park, Taiwan. He joined the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National Dong Hua University, Shoufeng, Hualien, Taiwan, since 2002. He is currently an associate Professor and the chairman. His research interests include micro-/nanolenses and organic light emitting devices. Dr. Wei is the member of Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft (DPG), and Materials Research Society Taiwan (MRS-T).
