My research activities focus on two topics related with inverse problems in dynamics. The first topic concerns the study of linear and nonlinear wave propagation in thin structures with applications to structural health monitoring. The second topic is related to the understanding of the localization cues used by humans to locate a sound source in space, with the aim to apply that to humanoid robots equiped with microphones.
