Dr. Wolraich has been active nationally in the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) particularly relating to ADHD. He is a member and past president of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatric. He was inducted into the Children and Adults with ADHD (CHADD) Hall of Fame, received the C. Anderson Aldrich Award from the AAP and the Lee Salk Distinguish Service Award from the APA Society of Pediatric Psychology. Dr. Wolraich has authored numerous journal articles and book chapters including articles in the New England Journal of Medicine, Pediatrics and the Journal of the American Medical Association. His research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and Mental Health, Maternal and Child Health Research Program, National Institute on Disabilities and Rehabilitation Research the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitation.
