Bio
My research has focused on tissue characterization of tissue (muscle, nerve and heart) using advanced quantitative MRI methods. For this purpose, I work on all aspects of MRI, ranging from hardware development, acquisition programming, data processing methods and validation.
Current ongoing research comprises DTI, Dixon and T2 mapping of muscle in various neuro-muscular diseases and sports related muscle injury and the development of a high density 200 channel cardiac coil @ 3Tesla.
