Nicolas F. Martin

My research revolves around understanding the role of past and present accretions of dwarf galaxies onto the Milky Way and the neighboring Andromeda galaxy. I am also involved in the up-coming Pan-STARRS and PAndAS surveys that will provide a deep stellar maps of the Local Group and will reveal yet undetected faint dwarf galaxies and stellar streams produced by currently disrupting or already disrupted dwarf galaxies.
